PRIVACY

Vice Hub (“we”) is an unofficial fan site operated by Akshay Deshmukh in India. This policy explains what the site collects, why, how long it is kept, and how to reach us. Contact: hello@vicehubapp.com.
Who this site is for
Grand Theft Auto VI is rated M for Mature 17+ by the ESRB. Vice Hub discusses that game, so the site is not intended for anyone under 17. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly create accounts for them. Signup does not ask for a date of birth, so we cannot claim to have checked every account’s age. If you believe a child under 13 has signed up, email us and we will delete the account. You must be old enough to agree to the terms in your country.
Data we collect
Account data: if you create an account, we store your email address, a password hash or the identity returned by Google sign-in, a display name, and optional profile fields you type (username, bio, avatar). Community data: posts, replies, reactions, and reports you submit while signed in. Technical data: standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested, used to keep the site online and to investigate abuse. Analytics: if you allow analytics in Cookie settings, we store a visit signal so the editor can see aggregate traffic. The map embed (map.stateofleonida.net) is a third party. It loads only if you allow external media, and it may set its own cookies under its own policy.
We do not ask for payment details. We do not sell personal information. Community moderation is enforced in the database. The browser is not trusted to decide who is a moderator.
Advertising and cookies
We may show ads from Google AdSense and other partners. Ads are not running on Vice Hub today: there is no ad code on the pages and no publisher ID in an ads.txt file. If ads are switched on later, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, aboutads.info, and youradchoices.com. How Google uses data from partner sites is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
People in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland must be asked for consent through a Google-certified consent platform before personalised ads are served. Vice Hub’s Cookie settings button is not that platform. It only stores this site’s own choices: necessary sign-in storage, preferences, an anonymous analytics visit, and whether to load the third-party map. It does not send a consent signal to Google. Before ads are shown in those regions, the editor will turn on AdSense Privacy & messaging (Funding Choices) or another certified platform. Until then, Vice Hub does not set Google advertising cookies. Reopen Cookie settings from the footer. Privacy questions: hello@vicehubapp.com.
Retention
Account and community content are kept while the account exists and, for public posts, while the conversation remains on the site. You may ask us to delete your account and the personal data attached to it. Posts that other people have already replied to may be detached from your name rather than erasing the thread. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and debugging, then dropped. Cookie preferences stay in your browser until you clear them.
Your rights
If you are in the EEA or the UK, you can ask to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and you can object to or restrict certain processing, under the GDPR and UK GDPR. If you are in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 gives you the right to access a summary of your data, correct and erase it, and withdraw consent, subject to the Act’s exceptions. People elsewhere may have similar rights under local law. Email hello@vicehubapp.com to use any of these rights. We may need to confirm you control the account email before we change it. You can also complain to a data-protection authority. We will not retaliate against a request.
Sharing
Hosting, authentication, and database providers process data so the site can run. Google processes data if you use Google sign-in, and will process advertising data if AdSense is later enabled, under Google’s own policies. We share information if the law requires it or to stop abuse of the community. We do not give advertisers a list of account emails.
