Vice City Returns in GTA 6
Vice Hub · Oct 23, 2026 · 6 min read

Vice City is the name people already know. Leonida is the larger idea in Rockstar's public marketing: a whole state, with a neon coast and country behind it. That difference matters for a guide. A site that only posts beach stills teaches you the postcard. A site that also names the Keys, the port, the swamps, and the mountains teaches you that the fiction is supposed to keep moving. Vice Hub uses six place names for that reason: Vice City, Leonida Keys, Port Gellhorn, Grassrivers, Mount Kalaga, and Ambrosia. Ambrosia's layout is not described here. They come from names in the public material, not from a complete official atlas.
The skyline is not the map
Trailers and the media page are allowed to linger on water, hotels, and night traffic. That is advertising. It does not tell you which bridge connects which county, and a fan reconstruction that guesses those connections is still a guess. map.stateofleonida.net, embedded on the Map page, is one such guess made by other people. Vice Hub hosts the frame because a labeled map is easier to talk about than a list of stills. The written notes under the frame are the part this site stands behind: what each region name is for, and the warning that the tiles can be wrong.
What "a new era" can honestly mean
Calling the setting a new era is a comment on scale and on the pair of protagonists, not a claim about features. Jason and Lucia are introduced together. The public tone is a partnership, not a single silent lead. A state-sized Leonida gives that partnership room to leave the beach. Those two observations are enough to write about without inventing radios, economies, or endings. The fan-concept missions on this site play with that tone and then label the play as fiction. They are not evidence for how the era will actually be structured.
If you are comparing this Vice City with the one from earlier games, keep the comparison at the level Rockstar has invited: the name, the climate, the neon, the crime story. Street-for-street continuity is not something this guide asserts. When a creator online says a specific 2002 mission returns as a chapter, that sentence is a theory. It can live in the community's theories channel. It does not get promoted to a mission card unless it is marked speculative, and even then the card is a concept, not a confirmation.
